A.) We offer many lens options including single vision lenses, bifocal lenses and progressive lenses. - Q.) Do you offer the eyeglass lenses that change from clear when inside,
to dark, sunglasses outside?
A.) Yes. Those are called photochromic or transitional lenses. They are commonly sold under the brand names of Transitions® or SunSensors®. We offer them as an option on all of our eyeglasses and eyewear. - Q.) I have a strong prescription. What can be done to make my eyeglasses
lighter and thinner?
A.) We offer a few options to thin out eyeglass lenses. Polycarbonate lenses (feather lites) are very popular and reduce both the thickness and weight. We recommend this option to anyone that is looking for a thinner and lighter lenses. If you have a very high prescription and want the thinnest lenses available, we also offer Hi index 1.67 lenses, which are the best option for stronger prescriptions. - Q.) I have trouble driving at night. Is there anything that can help with
the glare from headlights?
A.) A/R, anti-reflective or anti-glare coatings help minimize the "halo" effect caused by lights during the evening hours. The coating also helps anyone who works around fluorescent lighting and is considered a must on a high prescription. - Q.) What size frames should I pick?
A.) We suggest that you take a look at your current pair and find out what size you have now. You can choose the same or similar size pick larger or smaller depending on your needs. - Q.) What are progressive lenses?
A.) Progressive lenses are commonly referred to as no line bifocals, but are actually a lot more than just that. They have both the distance and reading areas like a regular lined bifocal lens, but also have intermediate areas as well. Progressive lenses are an all-in-one lens with no line. - Q.) I would like to order sunglasses, but I'm not sure what frames or options
to pick.
A.) Any frame can be made into sunglasses. If you are looking for a standard pair of sunglasses, just choose the options for both tint and uv400 coatings. If you are looking for he best sunglass lenses, choose polarized lenses.
